R.C. Pro-Am II NES (PAL)

My thumbs are sore from the marathon sessions, but the way the oil slicks and mud patches bounce you around while dodging the other racers is pure chaos in the best way. Rare really knew how to pack a track with hazards that keep every lap tense.

Getting to race through the mud and oil slicks in the later tracks brings back so many memories, and the PAL version plays just as smoothly as I remember on my old console. The cartridge was clean and clicked in without any issues, so I’ve already sunk an afternoon into it.

This arrived in perfect condition and the PAL version runs flawlessly on my setup—Rare really packed the chaos in with those weapon pickups and tighter tracks. I’ve already lost an evening to the multiplayer, and the cartridge feels solid, not flimsy like some old NES games I’ve gotten.
