HD15 to SCART Cable

The RetroTINK cable series is a line of very high quality coaxial interconnects for the best possible video quality

Specifications:

  • HD15 (VGA) plus audio (3.5mm) to SCART
  • Impedance controlled 75Ω mini-coax for all video signal lines: Red, Green, Blue, Sync
  • Shielded audio to minimize AV crosstalk
  • Global shield over entire bundle to minimize noise pickup
  • Double shielded cables (individual shielding per signal plus global shield)
  • The 470Ω attenuation resistor on SCART Pin 20 to safely bring 5V TTL sync to video levels
  • 6ft length

Cautions:

  • The 470Ω sync attenuation resistor is for use only with sources that output 5V TTL level sync
  • The cable does not have a sync combiner - a valid composite sync signal must be present on HD15 Pin 13
  • SCART is directional - this cable is for sending a video source into the HD15 connector and out to the SCART connector
  • There is no signal conversion - it will not scale high resolution VGA computer sources to standard definition TV
