Finally got this on PS5 and the loading times are basically nonexistent, which makes dying and retrying a raid actually fun instead of a chore. The way Eivor’s story unfolds through England’s war-torn settlements has me hooked, and the combat feels properly weighty on the DualSense.

I’m about fifteen hours in and the way Eivor’s story pulls you through the raids and political scheming of England is genuinely gripping. The world is massive but never feels empty, and I love how your settlement actually grows as you play.

Chloe ★★★★★

The combat finally clicked for me after a few hours, and leading Eivor's raids across England feels properly brutal. I've sunk about 15 hours in and the world still keeps revealing new settlements and mysteries to uncover.
