The Allied League storyline actually pulls you in more than I expected for an arcade shooter, and the SW745 fighter handles like a dream through the planetary chaos. I’ve lost track of time replaying the stages just to nail the enemy patterns.

The space fighter action is pure old-school, and the SW745 feels satisfyingly responsive even before you hit the upgrade pods. One small gripe is that the difficulty ramps up fast, but that's part of the charm for a retro shooter fan like me.
